Pro Tip: Read a bunch of this blog: Game Journalists Are Incompetent Fuckwits. It’s like the gaming journalist’s anti-handbook or anti-bible. It tells us exactly what NOT to do. Whenever a game journalist really fucks up, this blog will call them out on it. It won’t link to them and bring them traffic though. It’ll just humiliate them publicly. It’s mostly Kotaku and Destructoid because they make the most mistakes, but they get everybody, and we don’t want to end up on there.

VGChartz/GamrFeed’s own internal staff guidelines explicitly suggest avoiding getting mentioned on dis ‘ere blog. Whoops!
Obviously this was originally a while back - last year, judging by the old blog title they’ve referenced, probably some time after July or August - but it’s still up on the site today. Of note is the reference to not linking to the sites I mention; I used to link to Google Cache versions of pages rather than the originals themselves. I can’t remember why I stopped doing that, actually. I guess it never really felt important enough to keep going.
Thanks to occasional (and, it seems, former) VGChartz contributor Julian Williams for the source. The full screengrab of the text in question can be found here.
