Anonymous asked: Actually, I would submit that sites like IGN or Eurogamer spread their reviews over multiple pages to convey the feeling of a print mag, in the same sort of way magazines divide their text into columns with images/captions alongside. I mean, not saying page hits isn't a big motivator too, but this is always the impression I got based on how long the pages tend to be and the general layout of them.

This is without taking it to the same level as those fucking online "magazines" which publish those horrible PDF issues you have to drag around to read (any opinion on those, btw?).

And if Eurogamer and IGN want to try and “convey the feeling” of a dying medium and make things slightly more inconvenient for their readers they, hey, best of luck to ‘em.
