A whole bunch of Nintendo 3DS information was released today at Nintendo’s conference, including the exciting news that the console will have an online Virtual Console allowing the download of Game Boy and Game Boy Color games.

However a number of websites jumped the gun and decided to report that the system’s Virtual Console also featured Game Boy Advance titles as well, although no official announcements were made and the transcript of the event specifically mentions only the GB and GB Color.

So far Destructoid, Kotaku and Joystiq have corrected their articles, however VG247, 1UP [not a Google Cache link] and Eurogamer have not corrected theirs. Additional: The Sixth Axis, CVG [not a Google Cache Link], That VideoGame Blog, MCV.

VG247 has posted this additional item on the Virtual Console which they have since corrected, however the original article remains unedited at last check.
